Ayrton {Senior}
Seniors, Posted on: Oct, 12
Last week I met Ayrton (cool name!!) and his mom for a morning session, which I haven’t done in years. It was kinda neat to be up to see the sun rise.
We got sprinkled on a bit, but luckily Ayrton is a go-with-the-flow kinda guy and it didn’t bother him one bit. Ayrton reminded me so much of my brother Michael. The same face, same expressions…crazy. I felt like I was photographing his long-lost twin…I just couldn’t get over it. Minus the 10-year age difference.
Had such a fun morning with this super sweet guy and his mom, enjoy the preview!

Libby and I have all kinds of connections but had never met before: she goes to the same small Christian high school that my hubby Adam attended, she lives two houses down from my in-laws and only about a mile away from me, and I’ve taken a few of her friends’ senior photos! Small world. Libby is the most laid back, low maintenance senior girl I’d ever photographed, so she just jumped in my car with a tiny bag containing a change of clothes, and we drove all over the place trying to find some spots to shield her from the wind. We happened upon an amazing new location I’d never seen before with abandoned buildings, overgrown weeds, and a small pond…a photographer’s dream!

I had such a great time photographing Amy this week. Great style, great posture…just so photogenic and easy to work with! I think one of the keys to getting great photos is being laid back and not stressed about your session. Amy was great at this…just going with the flow and taking my direction. I hope you love your photos, Amy!

You know how sometimes you meet people who you feel like you’ve known for awhile; you just hit it off so well? That’s how it was last night with McKenzie and her mom Shana. It didn’t hurt that we knew a lot of the same people, but McKenzie is such a great girl, with a great head on her shoulders, and very pretty to boot! She had some awesome outfits…I’d love to steal her clothes. Especially that dress. So cute. Good luck with your senior year, McKenzie. It was a pleasure!
