Early this week, I had the pleasure of meeting the Holdemans out in their beautiful new home in the country. Baby E was just 10 days old, but he wouldn’t sleep for us at all! Regardless, we got some super cute photos of him, as well as his big brother and mommy and daddy. I love meeting new people…one of my favorite parts of my job…and this family was so accommodating and sweet. So glad they chose me to capture these memories! On to the faves…

Little miss Avery turned THREE this week! Cah-razy. See, Avery’s mama Ginger is my amazingly awesome friend that watches Sutton on Thursdays while I work (my magic…hehe) here at my studio. We’ve been friends for probably about 5 years now, and it seems like we’ve gone through so much life together in that time. We first became friends because of our shared interest in photography…then we just really clicked and started hanging out. Ginger found out she was pregnant, and I got to be there when Avery was born, and then again 2 1/2 years later when little Ezra was born. Ginger came to the delivery room right after I had Sutton and was one of the most emotional people out of everyone. I love our story together. And I love Ginger and her little family. (It’s still so weird to me that she has TWO kids!) We had a fun morning at Botanica this week, and Avery’s Bubba and Gpa even came along to join in on the fun. Here are some of my favorites of this beautiful, sweet family!
Ginger and Joe just celebrated their 7 year anniversary at the end of April. We had to sneak in a few lovey photos in honor of that!
…and then Ezra was done. 
Happiest.Baby.Ever. Little baby M and I got to hang out last week and I gotta admit…I fell in love a little bit. He did make me realize how old my baby is though. He gave me tons of smiles, just not when I had my camera in front of my face. But alas, we got some great photos, and his mama came with lots of props and ideas so our mini-session just flew by. Here are my favorites of this sweet lil guy.

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of meeting up with the adorable Shuart family again for some fun family photos in their gorgeous backyard. They’re expecting baby #2 next month and mama Christina couldn’t be prettier! I love getting to photograph their growing family and can’t wait to take some baby photos soon. Enjoy!
Logan is One!

Sweet little Logan is one of my favorites to photograph. He’s always wrinkling his nose and smiling and clapping. Such a happy little guy! We picked the windiest day of the year to take his one year photos (with balloons, I might add) but we made it all work and I think Logan was just excited to be outside. His sweet mama is expecting another little one this summer and I’m sure the two kiddos will be the cutest little troublemakers ever. Happy Birthday Logan!

Helloooooooooooooooo friends!
How is everyone holding up after the holidays? My belt got quite a bit tighter due to all the Christmas goodies, so…………I’m working on that.
I just wanted to update you all on portrait sessions for this spring and summer. I will be drastically limiting the number of sessions that I book each week since my 2012 wedding schedule is awesomely ridiculous. In order to keep my sanity and to be able to see my hubby and baby boy once in awhile, weekends are not available for portrait sessions, and week day sessions will be limited.
I’m already starting to book for spring and summer, so if you’d like to get on my calendar, please contact me today! Thanks so much for understanding…Happy 2012!

Aleeeeeeeexxxxx! This cah-razy awesome kid is the exact same age (almost to the day!) as my little guy. It’s such a fun, albeit tiring, age. During our session, we about fell in a pond 1,896 times and didn’t stop running for a second! Phew! It was fun to run along side him and try to capture him at this stage, so full of life. And to his mama Brynn…as promised, we got some keepers!

Cayyyy-uuuuute baby alert!! The handsome Mr. Eli is the sweet baby boy of Megan, who was my bestie Rachael’s roommate at nursing school in KC. Now she and her hubby Landon live not too far from us in Wichita. Got that? I was super excited to meet this adorable fellow after hearing all about him from Rachael. He exceeded my expectations and oozed adorableness. This influx of adorable babies is gonna make me want to move up my “plan” for #2. Ignore that I said that, Adam.
The Weil Twins {Family}

I believe this was a first for me, photographing twins! And I don’t think there could be anything cuter. I made a trip up to KC last weekend to visit my friend Rachael, and while I was there, I had the privilege of meeting and shooting these two. Their mama Katie is a friend of Rachael’s, and we hadn’t seen each other since we were bridesmaids in her wedding 3 years ago. That was pre-baby life for both of us. It was fun to catch up and snap a few of this fun stage of 6 months old! (Warning…there is a little ridiculous narrating below that had to be done.)
