We sure lucked out with the weather on Wednesday…70 degrees in February?! Love it. And luckily, I was able to enjoy the nice weather while shooting an engagement session with this beautiful and fun couple. Lelah and Ryan were super laid back and easy to work with. They kept saying that they’d never done anything like this before, but they could’ve fooled me! The camera loved them. Can’t wait for the second half of our engagement shoot in May. Onto the faves…
Storybook Album {Micah & Robert}

Micah decided to take a chance and choose a fun, bold design for her Storybook album cover. Their wedding colors were blue and pink, so she chose Navy as the main leather on her cover with an accent of Vixen which is a cool textured magenta. I LOVE how this turned out. Way to go, Micah!
Rachael + Westin {Engaged}

Last week I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Rachael and Westin, who were just so much fun. I love it when I click with couples, and I *think* they liked me too. 
Their dog, Miller stole my heart from the get-go when she came into my studio and went and sat under my desk and stared at me with those sad puppy-dog eyes. Melt. We teased her a bit…talking about walks and treats…to get her to be interested in posing, but she did great (and hopefully forgives us). Had a great time getting to know you two!
Natalie + Steve {Married}

One of my very dear friends was married last month just after the New Year, and what an amazing day it was! Natalie was so excited to be marrying Steve…we caught some awesome expressions on her face throughout the day. I was so blessed to be able to be their photographer, and they went out of their way to make sure I felt like family. After makeup at Sephora (which I’d never been in before…AH…heaven!), we headed to the church to get Natalie hitched. We had lots of time in between the ceremony and reception for photos and then ended the big day dancing the night away. Love you two…Natalie, I hope you’re having lots of fun in Michigan while Steve is becoming a doctor! Here are some highlights of their wedding day.
