20×40 Canvas {Client Share}
GDP News , Misc, Posted on: Jan, 28
Christina and Michael ordered one of their engagement photos as a 20×40 wrapped canvas, and when I got it in the mail…whew!…was I in awe! I told them (and it’s true!) I wanted to keep it for myself. Michael picked it up and hung it while his wife was at work so she could come home to the finished product up above their mantle. He was nice enough to share a photo with me of how it looks in it’s new home. Thanks Michael!!
Lacey & Justin {Engaged}
Engagements, Posted on: Jan, 26
It’s so fun to watch two people over the years, and to see a bit of their love story. Lacey and Justin met in high school, when they were in the same youth group at our church. I was a youth leader back then, so I’ve known them since they were itty bitty.
So neat to see a couple as separate people, to see them come together, and then to see them get married. I can’t wait for the big day in April! Thanks for a great afternoon, you two. I had fun mudding in Justin’s truck and eating Cocoa Dolce with you. Eeeeek!!! You’re getting maaaaarried!
Ivy & Luke {Expecting}
Bellies, Posted on: Jan, 25
Ivy and Luke are a really neat couple that I had the privilege of photographing last week. I just couldn’t believe how cute and small Ivy’s belly was for being 32 weeks. I was massive by that point.
We started out at my studio and got some great intimate photos of Ivy and her belly…we even put Luke in a few. I guess he’s pretty important too. We headed downtown to finish up our session, and it was coooooold. We all had numb limbs by the end of the shoot. Who cares though, we got some awesome photos. Here are my faves.
Julie & Kendall {Married}
Weddings, Posted on: Jan, 20
I first met Julie and Kendall in 2009 at Julie’s sister Kara’s wedding. They seemed so young then, but here we are 2 1/2 years later and they’re married! This beautiful couple had an amazing New Year’s Eve wedding and we totally lucked out with weather in the 50s for their big day. You might remember that Julie did a workshop with me a couple weeks before her wedding…it was so cool to get to know her one-on-one before her big day, I felt like part of the family. As a photographer, Julie placed photos high on her list of importance, so we had lots of time before the ceremony to get some great shots of her and Kendall, as well as the wedding party.
Congratulations, Julie and Kendall! You had the perfect wedding, filled with so much love…I wish you two the best and hope to keep in touch!
Spring and Summer 2012

Helloooooooooooooooo friends!
How is everyone holding up after the holidays? My belt got quite a bit tighter due to all the Christmas goodies, so…………I’m working on that.
I just wanted to update you all on portrait sessions for this spring and summer. I will be drastically limiting the number of sessions that I book each week since my 2012 wedding schedule is awesomely ridiculous. In order to keep my sanity and to be able to see my hubby and baby boy once in awhile, weekends are not available for portrait sessions, and week day sessions will be limited.
I’m already starting to book for spring and summer, so if you’d like to get on my calendar, please contact me today! Thanks so much for understanding…Happy 2012!
Ryan & Risa {5 Year Anniversary}
Engagements , Families, Posted on: Jan, 05
Ryan and Risa are some of our dearest friends. And we’ve been talking about this photo shoot about as long as we’ve known each other, so…4 years maybe? That’s a lot of pressure! Just kidding. These two are so beautiful that it was basically impossible to take bad photos of them. We got together on their 5 year anniversary for a fun photo shoot in the middle of their date day. I think that’s a fantastic way to spend your anniversary.
We plan to do more in the spring, but I have to admit we had pretty great weather for late December. Congrats on 5 years you two! Love you!
